The show only lasted three months and nearly led Stevenson to leave acting. But then Robert Altman cast her in The Player. After that, she got the second lead in a television sitcom called Bob. Despite good reviews, the show didn't last long either. Her acting career wasn't exactly that stellar until 1995, with three major roles that year and a role as Gloria on the sitcom Hope and Gloria. She's been in three Air Bud movies so far and can be seen in Agent Cody Banks and the 2004 sequel Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London as Mrs. Banks.
